I am currently working on behalf of a highly successful, well established Building Services Design Consultancy, based in Kent.
They specialise in Mechanical, Eelectrical and Public Health Design, and currently work with some of the worlds leading Construction companies.
They have worked on a number of high profile projects in a variety of sectors, including Commercial, Residential, Industrial, Leisure, Stadiums, Data Centres and Healthcare. One of the reason`s for their continued success is their ability to cover a wide range of projects, and adapt to the market demands.
Due to this success and future expansion plans, they are looking to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer to join their current team.
The ideal candidate will be a degree qualified Electrical Design Engineer, with a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience within a Building Services Consultancy Environment. You will ideally be working towards CIBSE chartership, and if this is the case you will receive full support and mentoring with this.
You must have the ability to work on your own initiative, and if you have experience of running your own jobs this will be beneficial. You will need to be presentable, and have the ability to meet clients on a face to face basis.
This position does require a small amount of European travel, once or possibly twice a month. This will give you the opportunity to be exposed to some extremely high profile projects on an internaitonal scale.
The position is one that offers long term career opportunities, and it really is down to you how far you go within the company. The Directors are keen to promote from within, and there is a very real opportunity to work towards Associate level and beyond.
Due to them being an independent company they do not have to adhere to the strict pays scales in place within the majority of larger Consultancies, so the earning potential is huge.
